Alternate side parking (street cleaning) regulations will be suspended on Thursday, October 9 and Monday-Wednesday, October 13-15 for holiday observance of Yom Kippur (October 9), Columbus Day (October 13) and Succoth (October 14-15). All other regulations, including parking meters, remain in effect.

Morningside Park Becomes a Scenic Landmark, the City's First Since 1983
The New York City Landmarks Preservation Commission unanimously granted scenic landmark status to Fredrick Law Olmsted and Calvert Vaux’s Morningside Park in Manhattan, citing its unusual topography, scenic views and noteworthy public sculptures.
