Got a Green Thumb? Volunteers Needed for Donnellan Square Park
4.22.2012
Donnellan Square located on St Nicholas Avenue between 149th and 150th Street was upgraded from a barren concrete median to a beautiful urban oasis in 2004, funded by Councilmember Stanley Michaels. Over the years, Donnellan has been tended by several community residents, Friends of Donnellan Square. In the last couple of years, some of the initial members have passed away or moved from the neighborhood. This is a call for volunteers. If you like gardening or working outdoors, we need your help. Can you spare two hours per week? We would love to hear from you. Please e-mail info@westharlemcpo.org
